Le Tour du Faso 2011 a connu sa deuxième étape ce samedi 22 octobre 2011. La victoire est revenue à l’Algérien Azzazadine Lagab qui a parcouru les 141,5km (Yako-Ziniaré) en 3h35mn:51s. Le Burkinabè Salfo Bikienga conserve le maillot jaune.
Après une première journée fructueuse pour les Cyclistes burkinabè au Tour du Faso 2011, la deuxième étape entre Yako et Ziniaré l’a été moins. La victoire est revenue à l’Algérien Azzazadine Lagab, grand favori pour remporter cette 25ème édition. Le coureur algérien a devancé le Français Vincent Fleuron de Sarthe en réalisant un temps de 3h35mn 51s soit 39,33 km/h. Ce qui lui permet de gagner 39,3s sur le porteur du maillot jaune Salfo Bikienga. Il est à 1mn55s au même titre que Rasmané Ouédraogo et l’Allemand Benjamin Hobber. Le Français, Jean Noel Wolf de l’Alsace est arrivée en 3ème position avec 14 secondes de retard sur le vainqueur de l’étape de ce samedi 22 octobre 2011. Les Burkinabè ont eu quelques difficultés dans cette course. Le premier d’entre eux, à savoir Rasmané Ouédraogo est arrivé en 11ème position avec 1,28 mn de retard. Il est également le premier africain de cette course. Rasmané Ouédraogo est suivi du Camerounais Yannick Lontsi (12ème).
Au classement général, le trio burkinabè arrivé la veille reste toujours à la commande. Salfo Bikienga (17ème) garde le maillot jaune. Il est suivi de Abdoul Aziz Nikièma et de Hamidou Zidweiba. Le Camerounais Tega Martinien premier invité africain est lui 8ème à 1mn59. Le maillot vert aux points est sur les épaules du vainqueur de cette étape. Au classement par équipe les Etalons cycliste A(Equipe Nationale du Burkina) est en tête suivie de l’équipe régionale du centre, l’équipe B du Burkina (2ème) et de l’Alsace (France) classé 3ème. Le meilleur sprinteur est l’Algérien Abdelaset Hanache. Ce dimanche, les coureurs enfourchent leur vélo pour la troisième étape Linonghin Tenkodogo (143,3 km).
